Engineered wood
Adding stability and ease to your flooring

2015-01-20 01:19:55

Maximum stability

Engineered wood is made from real timber pressed into layers to form flooring planks. The layers are positioned at 90° angles to one another, creating a strength and security not found in normal solid wood. Due to the added stability that it provides, engineered wood is eligible for ‘floating’ installation. This means that the planks aren’t fastened to the floor, saving time and money on the installation process.

No hard work involved

All of our engineered wood flooring planks come pre-treated and finished so that once they’re installed, they’re ready to go! The fitting process is quick, simple and easy.

Adapts to your property

Installing solid wood flooring isn’t always straight-forward. Uniquely-shaped rooms, tight spots and awkward spaces can mean that acquiring solid wood flooring for your property can be an impossible task. But why should that deprive you of wooden floors?

Engineered wood floors are adaptable, meaning they can be installed almost anywhere - even on top of underfloor heating systems. We can even fit engineered wood floors in tiny apartments and basements. Don’t let anything stand in the way of your perfect wooden floor; get in touch with The Hampton Flooring Co. today.

We’ve been proudly serving the people of Hampton and the surrounding areas since 2002.

“By far they had the most modern and extensive selection of products available and they didn’t try to squeeze in extra fees, for example the removal of existing carpets. The quality of the work was faultless…I would recommend this company to anyone looking for flooring solutions. A great find!”
